No big secret - fakes never get the H&S handle and certain details in the branch on the reverse right.

I can only voice my opinion based on what I see from scans, that are not always good. If you can send me some 600dpi scans of them I'd be happy to have a look just to be completely certain.

There are some very good fakes of this medal, so better scans are needed. Looking at the ring, my gut feeling says bad, but ...
