Short, concrete description of his combat feat or merits:

During the preparatory period prior to Operation Dunai [Danube], Senior Lieutenant Mokrushin directed the Party and Komsomol functionaries to successfully accomplish the mission. He assigned specific tasks to the platoon leaders.

During the mission he skillfully organized the reconnaissance and the commands of the company’s subunits. He was among the first to block the building in which the staff of the 7th Air Defense Army was located, enabling the successful advance of the battalion.

He efficiently oversaw the disarmament of the officers and soldiers of the army headquarters security. By implementing a fine system to guard and defend the building, he contributed to covering his men from enemy fire and to bringing an end to actions from counterrevolutionaries against his men. As a result the company successfully carried out the mission assigned to it, without suffering any losses in troops.

For skillfully commanding his company and for boldness and decisiveness, displayed while carrying out his mission, he deserves to be awarded the Order of the Red Star.
