Just recently bought this: 100 years Marshal Bagramyan, last USSR Marshal.

The Marshal H. Q. Baghramyan Named Medal (Մարշալ Հ. Ք. Բաղրամյանի Անվան Մեդալ) was founded on 11th May 1997. Very much an Armenian equivalent of the Russian/Ukrainian Medal "Zhukov".

Here is the document to the Medal issued to Olga Ivani Mirzoian (Օլգա Իվանի Միրզոյան) on 10th April 2007 by Ministry Of Defence Order #466.

The Medal has a very different feel and style to the Russian minted Medals.

Here is a completely different variation of the document that I was fortunate enough to pick up unseen.

This document varies from the last in two great ways. Firstly, this is in Russian and not Armenian. Secondly, the Medal is given a slightly different name in Russian "Medal Named Twice Hero Of The Soviet Union Marshal I. H. Bagramjan".

This was awarded to Nikolaj Akopovich Avojan on 3rd October 2000 by Ministerial Order #968 and personally signed by Armenian Minister Of Defence Serzh Sargsjan (later Prime Minister and then President).

10 years after the original small Russian Mint made State awarded pieces these Armenian made Ministry awarded pieces had changed quite significantly.
