Certainly not much wear and no wear with star in place (no tarnishing of brass "legs" or transfer of tarnish or grime to the inside of cap. Also, star looks like a regular visor cap star rather than smaller pilotka star

I'm not an expert on these, but the sweatbands inside are too clean looking. You're right; it looks too new.

Looks suspicious, but could be good - the material and stamp look OK, but the sweatband do not, also the badge is a replacement. The condition is unlikely for a 70-year-old wool cap (moths!), but miracles do happen from time to time.

Here's a couple of good ones. Note smaller pilotka star, better attached background star, hatband is sewn down all the way around, star "legs" are not exposed being sewn into the band
