I wish there was a way of knowing the "rank" indicated by collar embroidery. I have such a tunic (from a lower ranked/awarded miner). The buttons are actually just sewn on in a line in the front. The tunic actually closes entirely with hidden hooks on the side. Pictures of these in use is really rare. Thanks for posting it!

Cool. Guy on right has same pattern as my tunic so same "rank".....whatever that is.
