I got these for 20 dollar on ebay, the American seller made no claim they were real. The other stuff he sold were a variety of all kind of stuff. Mostly Russian stuff, but mostly not military, orthodox crosses, matryoshka dolls, Putin posters, shoes, sauna hats, Saint George icons, etc

They also look new (no wear and tear like you'd suspect from something made at least before the fal of the USSR)
The KGB badge is poorly made and fell apart.

I would like to learn more so I have a few questions comrads.

How real do they look?
How can you tell it's fake (I can only assume)
How legal is it have a KGB ID and badge
How legal is it to have a FSB ID and badge
How complete are there?

Sorry if this wrong place. I'm new. I read a lot of pages, but English not always so good. Please accept apologize if I made mistake.

I really just want to know as much info as I can about these items. Please help me.

Hello everybody,

I have seen a smaller group and the medals definately belong to the recipient mentioned in the award booklet due to the given information of the central archives in Moskva; the official stamp and award date is also ok (1944) - but the order booklet is written in ... pen - stye and red ink !?

Does anybody know, when the PEN was invented in the USSR / the USSR`s armed forces or is it just possible that the booklet was created much later, when pens became more common

Thanks a lot !!!

Hello,

what do you think about this round medal?

It is not magnetic, it looks like it is made out of cast iron.
The diametre is 5 cm and thickness is 5 mm.

Could this be a tool for making rubber stamps?

best regards

I never really thought about or had a need to figure out the authenticity of a Partisan medal document, so any thoughts on the this one? I would expect it to be much more expensive than the seller is asking, which makes me naturally suspicious. I also have no idea what the prices for these are normally so I might just be paranoid for no good reason.
Thoughts?

Just because I have never heard of this doesn't mean it didn't exist. Having said that, this paper seems to be in incredible condition for something that the seller is from the 1940s. The "watermarks" do not make the seller's case more convincing. In fact, they do the opposite, having seen the detailed and even the simplest Soviet watermarks that are far more - well, "Soviet" than these wavy lines.
Thoughts?
