I have some questions and hope you may be able to help me. I got this jacket from a reliable source, he said he originally purchased it in Berlin in 1994 from a Russian dealer. The ribbon bar was on it but the badges were missing. He added the paratrooper badge later, although I don't think it belongs on there. It looks like it should be an academy badge instead. I'm no expert, but the uniform looks authentic and not made up.
Anyway, does someone have an idea which Lt. General it may have belonged to based on the ribbons? Also, what could the two ribbons on the bottom row in the middle be? East German as well? And isn't the ribbon above the East German Verdienstmedaille for the Medal of Ushakov? Isn't that quite unusual for an Air Force General, and also because it's so low on the ribbon bar?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I got a good deal on it because the seller didnt know what he was having.
It was by bidding and since he mislabeled the ad i was the only bidder.

I identified it as a M55-58 Zhukov uniform parade cap for a non flying officer.
The crown wing is missing and seems to never have been there, that makes it a non flying officer cap.
All badges seem to be correct and authentic to this cap.

The cap has no date nor the buttons do.
Soley on style and ornaments i identified it.

I will be posting more pictures sone.

Let me know any thoughts on this cap.

I need your opinion:

Is this combination possible?
Ribbons on the blue parade jacket (the ribbons are sewn on a blue underground - same color like the jacket)
There are holes for the awards (stars etc.) on the right side.
=> For what occasion was this dress (combination of awards and ribbons instead of medals)? Worn with parade belt?

In my opinion it is a pre 1991 uniform. What do you think?

Thank you for your help!

Its an M1945 "Air Marshal" for Skripkko.

However, if you are eagle-eyed you note that it does not have the light blue collar and cuffs; while this WAS done on one occassion (Air Marshal Falalayev; see P.305 of V2 of Uniforms of the Russian Air Fleet)), there is no evidence that Skripkko also lacked this feature. In fact, he is pictured in Sinclair/Drabik (P.226) wearing the Air Marshals M1945 with the light blue collar and cuffs.

So, watch out. The tunic was being offered with some original photos of Skripkko.

Also, I was thinking of selling the uniform eventually and was curious as to the value of it? I do also have the appropriate leather boots and everything is in excellent condition except for a few small holes in the pants.

First a pilot tunic with jump badge, a russian translation of a US flight manual, a nagant revolver and a visor hat

Second, 2 leather coats (black and brown) form 1940 and 1942

Here is the detail of another tunic of airforce. Note the form of the insignia.

Here is a blue visor hat. It's quite rare to find one made after 1942! The Irvin jacket was found also in Russia

A last one for today....the rare pilot mapcase made of true leather. The "kirza" one is more common. This one is dated 1939, the rule and disc too.
