Offered are these 12 military and related documents from World War II, all dated between 1941 and 1945. Included are:
-3 \"V-Mail\" letters, with original envelopes, two postmarked in 1943 and the other in 1945. These are in good to very good condition, with no large tears, but both letters and envelopes have browned and have some light soiling.-9 Selective Service items, including Notice of Classification cards, a Registration Certificate and a Notice to Report for Physical Examination card. These are all for the same person, in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and range from dates in 1941 through 1944. Seven of the pieces are stapled together. These have browned considerably and have light to moderate wear. I have not tried to take out the staple for fear of doing further damage.In addition, included is a color postcard of the Golden Gate Bridge, mailed from a soldier stationed at Camp McQuaide in California to someone in Ware Shoals, South Carolina, postmarked June 9, 1945. It is in good to very good condition, with no tears or creases, but does have some browning and light surface marks.Please take a moment to look at the other items in my store!
