1830’s / 1840’s US Militia Staff Officer’s Sword With Indian Princess Pommel:

This is a beautiful French made officers sword that ranges from the late 1700s to the early 1800s. The blade is missing the tip of it and has pitting/dings to the blade. The blade curves ever so slightly off to one side shown in the photos. The handle is the star jewel of the sword as it is very intricately made all out of bronze/brass. The handle has been spray-painted at some point I believe. The handle is loose on the blade and there is some wire trying to tighten it up. Take a look at all the photos to see general condition and dimensions. This sword has had a rough life, but overall, considering its age it is still amazing, that it has survived.
