I found this 1864 dated document yesterday that I didn\'t realize I still owned. It\'s for a person in Georgia made to do work for the engineer corps in the Confederate army.
It\'s unclear to me whether the person is an owned person or not but it\'s a really neat document, very colorful and showy, and in excellent condition.It also has an impressed, raised marking in the middle which states \" CSA HEADQUARTERS CONSCRIPT SERVICE GEORGIA\".Red on beige paper and really nice condition with little horseman at top, etc.About 6.5 x 4.5 inches.Never before offered for sale.
