1933 early carl eickhorn sa dagger. It is original to the period and not a repro or parts dagger. the scabbard is anodized which shows wear but is in overall good condition. All the fittings on the scabbard and dagger are nickel silver to the early 1933 period. the screws and the pommel nut appear to be not tampered with. The blade also fits snugly to the scabbard. The wood grip has no chipping and the veteran who brought it back put his initials "vy" on the grip which adds to the story. the gruppe mark is "fr" on the lower crossguard. The leather hanger is in good condition and also has the nickel silver which matches the dagger. The blade itself has some scratches down it by the german motto but in overall good condition. It's basically in excellent condition overall and would be a good show piece in a collection.
