Up for offer are 2 originalvintage pre-owned WW2US GI Red Cross 1944 Aviator & 1939 AAF Playing Cards. The first deck is a WW2 (1944)era deck of Red Cross Aviator playing cards. Thedeck is complete (52 cards, plus a Joker and extra Joker). The deck is in very good condition for its agewith general wear from use and storage. The box has a couple of tears, wearalong the edges and corners from handling and use. The box is printedwith "FOR USE OF THE U. S. GOVERNMENT PERMIT NO. 1 Jan. 31, 1944"AVIATOR" PLAYING CARDS." And on the other side,"GIFT OF THE AMERICAN RED CROSS NOT TO BE SOLD." Made by theUnited States Playing Card Co., Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. The second deck is a WWIIAltus Oklahoma 1939 AAF (Army Air Force) playing cards. The deck is incomplete (50 cards, plus aJoker and extra Joker). The deck is in verygood condition for its age with general wear from use and storage. Thecomplete box is missing. Only one sideof it exists.
