Up for sale, is this excellent copy of an M38 Fallschirmjäger helmet. Unknown maker, but great quality. The lines are perfect and the stamps are as good as you’ll ever see. It compares very well to original shells.


The LW Adler is present. Feel free to ask for additional photos.


The liner is a size 59/60 (it fits me well at size 60). It’s authentically accurate and well-made, and has the correct center stitching. I removed the spider foam, so the helmet sits lower on the head. The chinstraps are the typical reproduction.


Finished with a lightly textured, dark field-gray paint. The tri-color and adler are present and have been lacquered on for extra durability.


I slightly aged the paint and decals, but it has actually never been worn, or left the display shelf.


This helmet’s steel is thinner than average, making the shell is lighter in weight than other high-end copies, so the helmet has been priced accordingly.


I don’t know of any accurate M38, shell size 71 reproductions currently available and there do not appear to be any on the way.
