THIS IS FOR THE SIZE 1 (LARGE) ONLY!
Note! Price is for mask only - carry bag extra in my other listing.
Avon FM12 CBRN Gas Mask UK 2004 / Size 1 (additional sizes available in my other listing). Uses Avon's patented speech cone and drinking tube and six-point "skull cap" head harness - it comes with all of these things.
This is the nicer, upgraded two-port version with screw in port blank so you can run two filters or just one by using the blank. The blank is included. This FM12 gas mask takes standard 40mm STANAG thread filters, and filter possibilities are too broad to list.
These masks are used but serviceable - may have minor scuffs or marks, but valves, drinking tubes, six point harness, rubber, and polycarbonate lenses are in good, serviceable shape. Rubber is also in good shape and forms a good seal without holes, tears, cuts, etc.
Optional carrying bag (in my other listing) is rugged 500D nylon, with detachable belt hanger and removable rubber-backed drop leg strap, OR can be carried directly at the belt with three non-slip BTS loops, features 1/8" padded back, hook and loop closure, and rough dimensions of 11" (H) x 7" (W) x 6" (D) at the opening which tapers slightly to the bottom to a width of about 5".
Carry bag not included! Carry bag is an extra $15.00 (no extra shipping charge - put your request in the NOTE, make an offer on the bag, referencing the NOTE and $15 w/ no shipping). I have a limited supply of an additional lanyard hook-on strap to make bag into haversack/shoulder carry bag for an additional $2.00 (no extra shipping - same as above). For me to accept the bag offer, you'll need to buy the mask FIRST.
FAQ:
Can I do international shipping (to anywhere)? Normally, I'm absolutely willing to ship internationally at cost, but it is prohibited to export these under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
cAn I gEt a dIsCoUnT!?1!? No. Please don't ask. This is the lowest price on or anywhere for these.
What size should I get?? I've attached pictures from the manual that show sizing. It's really about two issues - the length of your face and its width. My size is partially instructive - my head size is a fitted 7 3/4, or about 24 1/4". The measurement of the center of my pupils to the bottom edge of my chin is 5 inches, almost dead on. A 2 fits me fine, though I can also wear a 1.
Next would be your head width. The chart that is pictured from the manual with the hash marks is in millimeters. You'll need to do a little conversion there from imperial/US, but that's as close as I can get you. This is the best information I have on sizing.
