This is a listing for a Large size 1950's L-2b nylon USAF issued flight jacket. All correct and in good wearable condition as is.


 This is a vintage jacket and has been worn. A name plate was once attached to the breast by a service member. Its ghost stitches are just visible. There is some slight wear and minor staining to both the nylon outer shell and lining. I've tried to high light those shortcomings in the descriptive images.


The zipper and knits (by Mash Co. Japan) have been replaced. The replacement knits have no (moth) holes or repairs. As a result this jacket can be worn without worry & give the new owner good service going forward.


As a Large size jacket it is generously proportioned. Please see those attached  scaled images within the descriptive images. Its measurements are as follows:


Shoulders - 20" across

Pits- 24 1/2" across or 51" to 52" circumference

Hem - 43 1/2" nylon circumference

Back length - 23" collar seam to bottom

Sleeve Length - 24" straight down sleeve or 24 1/2" as an arch


This jacket comes from a non-smoking household.
