> Photo of an old painting of Brigham Young and Joseph Smith, supposedly taken out of the old Nauvoo Temple in Illinois. It was later discovered in Utah. The story goes-- The painting was in the Nauvoo Temple, then damaged by the mob who were trying to run the Mormons out of the state. Holes were shot in the painting. The red line around Joseph is a paint mark to indicate his neck was cut. The painting emerged about 20 years ago in the Salt Lake Valley. The shot of Brigham does look like a young Brigham, in the hair, around the ears and eyes. Joseph\'s looks fit with other paintings of him. Photo is on thick photo stock and measures 11\" by 9\".
