C1830 Eaglehead cruciform sword hilt 236:

Eaglehead cruciform sword hilt. Eagle pommel is about 1.57" tall. Exposure of carved grip is 3.02" tall, cruciform crossguard is solid, heavy brass 4.78" wide. Blade slot is 0.53" x 0.30". Has provision for a chain guard. Condition is a mottled patina with some silver finish present. Grip should properly have a bottom ferule.
