Blade style looks to be a French model 1831 short sword.
Blade not sharp. Pitted. I believe it has a preservative or painted black? Nicked. Tip broken off.
Tight to grip.
Iron ferrule.
Wood grip firmly on. Cracks with no looseness. Big chunk gone from the end.
Measures 25 1/16" total. Blade is 18 1/8". 1 13/16" wide. 1/4" thick.
