Civil War Original M-1840 NCO Sword Found on the Cold Harbor Battlefield, VA . Recovered by Charle Darden in the 1960's. Measures 24 3/8" overall, blade is 18" long. Possibly fashioned into a fighting side knife. The front part of the blade is missing, and the side handguards appear to have been intentionally broken off. This sword relic is accompanied a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Nick Peruit, Owner of Army of Tennessee.
