Eagle head american sword war of 1812.
I believe this is a war of 1812 era American mounted artillery officer sword that is ketland style so possible British import. It is a more rare variant from most eagle heads with the bombs and fuses on the guard. There is no makers mark. There is traces of blue and gold on the blade but are faded as shown in the pictures. There is a crack in the bone grip. The grip moves slightly but the hilt and blade are tight. Missing parts on scabbard as shown. The blade is approximately 30 1/4 inches long and length of sword is approximately 36 inches. Please use the pictures as reference to determine the condition of the sword and ask me questions if necessary. I have also posted a picture from a reference book that is not the exact sword but similar so please do your own research I am not an expert.
