Check my other sales for more dug relics and non-dug militaria from New Mexico.Circa 1870-80 Indian Wars period stamped brass Artillery pin/insignia. Not sure if this is dug or not. The front has been cleaned at some time, but is getting its patina back. Looks like someone cut the attachment hooks off of the back, probably to mount it on a display board. Originally would have had 4 brass wire loops. Please study the photos for condition. Great display item.
