EMPTY What\'s New Envelopes, Lot of 6, WWII Military Art:
$12.99

This is a lot of SIX \"What\'s New\" envelopes. Each envelope features color WWII era artwork.I believe the art work was done by well known WWII artists. Two of the envelopes have the artist\'s signature at the bottom (Russin and Carlos Andreson).
These envelopes are EMPTY. I\'m not sure what they contained originally but it may have been the \"What\'s New\" magazine, published by Abbott Laboratories in the early 1940\'s. These magazines promoted American patriotism and the purchase of war bonds, explored the latest in medical technology and highlighted medics and their wartime duties. All 6 envelopes are addressed to the same addressee in San Antonio, TX. Each envelope measures about 12-3/4\" x 10\". There is no writing on the backs of the envelopes.
These envelopes are all intact. They are estimated to be around 75 to 80 years old so they are fragile and show shelf wear appropriate to their age. Colors and images are vivid and clear.
