French/France Gras Sword Bayonet Model 1874 Dated 1879 w/Scabbard.Marked on blade spine \"St.Etienne (arsenal) 1879\'. About 25.5\" overall length. About 20.5\" long blade which is original configuration & point, also very bright. Numbers on cross guard and scabbard do NOT match. Pushbutton & spring lever work fine. Wood grips have no cracks but have years of handling marks and have 1 new .5\" gouge between rivets on one side of handle. No dings in metal scabbard, but has a bit of rust on otherwise about 80% original finish. Always study photos carefully. Located in USA. $20.postage.
