NO SCABBARD French Non-Regulation Civil War period made Sword NO Scabbard. Please ask questions before offerding. Inspection marks civil war period and have seen nonregulation Union sword made with same pattern but with eagle in center of hilt. Irish Brigade hade almost same hilt with four leaf clover.These Early swords are not perfect, they may have been painted. taken apart, lost handle wrap or wire, cracked or pieces of handle missing, chrome or nickel plated. rusty, pitted, sharpened, bent, scratched, battle scars, soldered, abused and what ever happened in their 170 years plus years existence.
