These are Gentex TBH-II full cut helmets. The TBH-II is a lightened version of the MICH helmet that was used by the US Military in the early 2000s prior to the adoption of the ACH. TBH-II helmets are tested in accordance with the National Institute of Justice’s (N.I.J) 0106.01 standard for ballistic resistance, making them Level IIIA rated helmets. The TBH-II is compatible with most MICH/ ACH accessories such as chin straps, helmet covers, pads or NVG shrouds. Overall, these are a great helmet choice for those looking to build out a very lightweight full cut helmet.
