Greece: Medal for the Struggle for North Epirus 1936. 3rdclass blackened bronze medal awarded to Greeks that participated in theformation of the short-lived Autonomous Republic of Northern Epirus, and thosethat supported later Greek efforts to annex North Epirus into Greece. After the Greek defeat in the Greco-TurkishWar 1919-1922, North Epirus was returned to Albania.
