Italian Model 1888 Saber Sword F. Horster Solingen & Scabbard Quillback Blade:

Italian Model 1888 Saber measuring 42.5" overall with a blade length with a 35.5" etched blade. Very good condition showing a dark age patina on handle and scabbard. Blade shows a medium gray/silver patina. Blade shows etched design along with design on the top of blade spine. The ricasso is stamped, "F. HORSTER SOLINGEN". The grip handle is a black composite, the handle had some sticker residue in the photos that came off after the photos. See photos for further details. A nice looking piece, made by one of the Best German Sword Makers.
