Genuine antique rare letter (in booklet form with spreadsheets) from the Secretary of War December 7, 1842.Just look at ALL the names and ranks at that time who went on to be the generals and leaders of the civil war, on both sides. Not to mention the ones who lead our nation post war.Just to name a few you\'ll find in several places, then Captain Robert E. Lee, 1st. Lt. Joseph Hooker, W.T. Sherman, A.E. Hitchcock, Penrose, Rynolds, McClellan, and the list goes on, and on. See how many famous names, and info you can spot. This letter (booklet) has 47 pages in all including six large spreadsheets. It\'s in relatively good condition with a small cut here, and a watermark there, but really good functional condition for its age. The pictures will give a much better explanation than I can. This is really a unique find.
