The Jubilee Medal "70 Years of the Armed Forces of the USSR" was established by the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of January 28, 1988[1] to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Armed Forces of the USSR. The author of the drawing of the medal is the artist A. B. Zhuk.
