NSWDG DeVGru Gold Squadron oversized Garrison style emblem. These are not tactical patches, but probably done for Squadron shadowboxes and presentation to ViPs, cross training partners and other units. The Crusader Lion is traditional Lion from mid 2000-2008 timeframe. Single line stitching. If you have been to the Command you have seen this Lion on reserved parking spaces, Team Leader plaques and even on gear caged. Too big for shirt sleeve pockets, but nice on patch panels.
Large size patch is oversize from standard 3" patch .
This rated as "used" unissued condition, but never fielded. Stored long term in ragged plastic bulk bag.
Very few were left over from the initial order. This is it in general color, which is "military" black on 500D DIG2 fabric, which is same shade as on the LBT Underway cam waterproof load out bags for NSWDG. Cool patch, especially if you collect or love something different. High degree of embroidery and stitching on image. Original DIG2 cordura fabric.
Three other camo patches were made but only two others are left. See other sales. Standard size Squadron patch is shown for comparison, but is NOT included.
