Original 1942 Camo Painted WWII U.S. Army M-1 Helmet Fixed Loop Front Seam.Helmet has a heat stamped 209A (Mid 1942 June to July production) by McCord.The J hook is the early type with brass sharp milled tips.The chin strap buckle is from leftover M1917A1 helmets.The chin strap is OD3 and in very good condition to excellent.Front seam, fixed loops.Stainless steel rim with most paint. Some rust the helmet with most of the Cork finish ispresent.The early production helmet in a good shape with no stress fractures.
