Original 1942 Dated MATCHING WW2 German K98 Bayonet and scabbard.
WWII German K98 Bayonet measuring 15" overall with a blade length of 9.75". Blade shows faded to silver on the front half of blade with a plum age patina on the back half. Blade edge shows a small nick/ding near the front point. Ricasso stamped, "2417e/ 41agv", AGV stands for Berg & Co. with a 1941 date on it. The markings on the scabbard match the bayonet. Double WaA stamps on the pommel by the excellent working press-stud. The pommel, guard, and scabbard show a surface rust/brown patina, see photos.
