I bought this Helmet from Bill Rentz at least 10 years ago. the following description is his:
\"Here isanother item I hate to part with but it is time for it to go. I purchased thishelmet almost 30 years ago from a private museum in Pennsylvania that closed and sold off it\'sentire collection at sale. It is a front seam, fixed bale Medic Helmet inexcellent condition. This is the same helmet that is pictured on page 86 of mybook \"Geronimo\" by Schiffer Publishing. The liner is manufactured bySeamans Paper Company and also has the medic crosses also painted on the liner.I guarantee this to be a 100% WW2 vintage helmet and not one of the current\"phoneys\" all over the internet. Due to numerous requests I willincude the proof page from my book with a signed statement verifying that thisis the same helmet and that I guarantee it to be 100% original WW2 vintage.\"
During my ownership the leather liner strap has parted - See Photograph #12. Also, a \"Route of March\" Map attributed to the 575th Motor Ambulance Company came with the Helmet and will be included in the sale - See Photos #14 & 15.
