You are buying a rare new/unused authentic Cold War coffee cup/mug from the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty between the U.S. and the former USSR. Please see the specifications below and the pictures for additional condition details.

INF CUP/MUG:

  • Size: Approximately 3.5" tall by 3" in diameter at the top and 4.75" long (end of the handle to the opposite side/end of the cup/mug)
  • Color: White base with full color flag of the U.S. and the flag of the USSR on one side. Below the flags are the letters "INF" in red. The reverse side features an embossed (raised) USSR camouflaged mobile ICBMin gray
  • Material: Ceramic
  • Maker: Made and produced (in limited quantities) by U.S.
  • Condition: New/unused and comes from a "smoke free" home

INF

"The INF Treaty signed in 1987 was an arms control treaty agreement between the U.S. and the former Soviet Union (USSR) to limit the number of nuclear and conventional ground-launched ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and missile launchers nuclear weapons deployed by each country. The treaty did not apply to submarine launched ballistic missiles (SLBMs) or heavy bombers that can be equipped with nuclear weapons.

By the treaty's deadline in 1991, a total of 2,692 such weapons had been destroyed, 846 by the U.S. and 1,486 by the USSR. The following specific missiles, their launchers systems and transporter vehicles were destroyed:
