Obverse: Marianne and personification of Fury block the path of the German eagle, clasping sword, in foreground; civic and national shields to lower right;

Reverse: Three medallions containing the busts of Generals Petain, Nivelle, and de Castelnau above legend in five lines; all within wreath, with awards clasped at the bottom.

CONDITION IS UNCLEANED AND UNCIRCULATED WITH A MEDIUM RANGE MINT STATE.
