Rare 1st Variant Western L71 Mark 1 Seebee Commando Fighting Knife + USN Sheath:

WWII Original Western Boulder Colo marked Mark 1 L71 Seebee Commando Knife. First Variant, flat ground blade, a half steel guard with red/black spacers and a steel pommel. Blued finish has faded showing a silver patina with tiny pin-prick pitting. No looseness on handle or blade. Has the correct Western Boulder Colo markings on ricasso area of blade. Comes with a leather sheath showing some verdigris on the staples that can clean off. USN stamped on leather by throat. Nice working brass snap button. Pommel 2 prong peening which is correct.
