Order of the Golden Grain (嘉禾勳章)was established on July 29, 1912.
On October 7, 1916, it was set as nine grades and ten levels (later changed).
Golden Grain is a type of rice that grows particularly vigorously. The ancients regarded the Golden Grain pattern as a symbol of good luck. After the founding of the Republic of China, the Golden Grain pattern often appeared on currency and badges instead of the dragon pattern of the Qing Dynasty, and had the nature of a simple national emblem. At that time, there were no clear regulations on the Golden Grain pattern style. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, Golden Grain was still retained in the national emblem. The Order of the Golden Grain Medal is a gold or silver octagonal with an unequal number of rays between the corners. The center of the circle is a golden grain pattern on a white background. The lower end is a five-color ribbon. The edge of the circle is on a green or blue background with eight groups of five-color dot patterns. . It has a multi-layer structure of copper enamel, with the words "Golden Grain Medal" written in red-background seal script in the center of the circle on the back.
