The Battle of Narva is one of the first battles of the Northern War between the Russian army of Peter I and the Swedish army of Charles XII, which ended in a heavy defeat for the Russian troops.The inscription on vol.st.: "SUPERANT SUPERATA FIDEM / DIE • 20 • NOVEMBRIS / ANNO • 1700 •" (Overcoming obstacles exceeds the measure of probable, November 20, 1700).
A fantastic part of military history not to be missed at this low listing price. It would be extremely hard to find a much better example than these medals, medals weight a bit.
