Rare and Seldom Encountered, these Imperial Russian Hunting Knives are a fabulous example of the work of Egor Samsonov as they have both survived in superb, near mint original condition. This exquisite pair includes a larger Hunting Dagger with Bowie Style Blade and the smaller is a beautifully complimenting Skinning Knife with a spearpoint blade. The Hunting Dagger wears a gorgeous blade that measures 6 5/16 inches in length that is wonderfully marked and absolutely beautiful with only two very small surface blemishes on one side. The outstanding carved ebony hilt is perfectly healthy as is the wooden leather covered scabbard with lovely blued metal fittings. The smaller Skinning Knife wears an equally well marked blade that measures 3 3/4 inches in length along with a perfectly healthy carved ebony hilt and matching scabbard, all remaining in pristine condition as well. The Hunting Knife measures 11 1/4 inches in length and the Skinning Knife measures 7 5/8 inches in length.
