They were used by Soviet Troops units during the 1979-1989 Soviet-Afghan War. It was also used in all war conflicts after the collapse of the USSR in 1992-1996: Nagorno-Karabakh, Pridnestrovie, Abkhazia, Tajikistan, Chechnya, etc.

Composition: upper - shoe velour, auxiliary - high–quality Soviet leatherette, the sole is rubber, flexible and elastic. Grade 1.

Manufactured by Experimental Sports Products Factory (EKSI) "Sport" Moscow city, USSR, founded in 1973, is a state-owned enterprise in the USSR State Sports Committee system focused on the production of sportswear and footwear. Year of manufacture 1991.
