US M 1860 Staff And Field Officers Sword W/ Original Scabbard & Drag Tip:

I believe this is a model 1860 field officer sword. Blade is etched on both sides and is marked Henderson-Ames Kalamazoo Michigan. The blade seems a little loose as does the knuckle guard. Blade needs cleaned but overall in excellent condition. I would guess late 1890s early 1900s definitely post civil war. See photos for details. Blade measures 32” long, scabbard is 34” long and total length of sword is 37.5” long.
