USASF World War II Army Air Force Air Medal & Ribbon with Wrapped Broach.
Measures 1 5/8” in diameter. The front shows a diving eagle clutching two lightning bolts in his talons. The border is a compass rose with 15 points. The reverse side is blank on this decoration and is intended for engraving the recipient’s name. Includes the presentation blue and yellow machine embroidered cloth woven cotton ribbon. Has a thin horizontal pin back with a locking catch. This is the wrapped broach version. Die struck brass construction.Low excellent condition.
