Vintage CIA desk momento - Moscow New Office Building (NOB) concrete core sample. Test core sample of the concrete used during the construction of the US Embassy in Moscow. Construction was a complete fiasco with Russian workers and materials coopted by Russian intelligence services, the building was infested with bugs, listening, recording, transmitting devices. The building had to be reconstructed. This is a test core sample of the NOB that was collected and presented as a desk plaque gift. Unnamed, vintage, used condition. Laquered hard dense concrete core sample. Wood plaque. Brass engraved plate. Copper mounted on core ends. Very good preserved condition. Minor imperfections. See photos for condition. Only one.
