Up for sale is a Vintage Vietnam Era US M1 Helmet w/ Liner, Mitchell Cover Worn. In terms of condition, the helmet is overall used and has some flaws. In regards to the Mitchell cover, along with the wear, the top of the cover is ripped with a big hole( I think that if you are able to sew it’s possible to fix it but not sure) In regards to the helmet shell, along with some wear and stains, on the right side there is a small crack( overall I don’t think the crack will effect the helmet much but I wanted to show it).if desired you can repaint the helmet but this is how I found it. Finally in regards to the liner, the webbing dosent appear to have any issue and has a helmet liner band that appears to be recent put on. Overall while this helmet has flaws, the buyer can either wear it as is to have a worn/salty helmet look for Vietnam impression or can try to fix/mod the helmet to their desire. Please note that I use natural lighting so this may make items appear a little more lighter then they actually are.
