Vintage World War II U.S. Army Nurse Corp. Women's ETO Winter Field Uniform and Hat. Jacket: M1944 IKE OD wool, rayon/silk-lined, 3 French fly button front closure with under-collar leather tab and button closure at the neck, and 2 hook and eye closure at the waist. Integral shoulder straps. Internal back waist flap with 2 buttonholes to attach wool field skirt or trousers. Adjustable wrist button closure, integral waist belt with blackened steel buckle, 2 pleated breast pockets with scalloped flaps with hidden button closure. Faded contractor's tag - believed size small - Approximate dimensions: Sleeves from shoulder to wrist (21 1/2") - Armpit to armpit (17") - Collar to waist (18") - Across waist (13"). Near excellent condition. Skirt: Unlined, below-knee length wool (to match jacket) with 3 side French fly button closure and 2 button waist tab closure. To the internal back are 2 buttons to attach to jacket. Faded inked label to internal buttonhole lining - size 10R. Excellent condition. Hat: Knox-designed, revised-pattern nurse's officer's worsted wool hat in dark olive drab with close-fitting body, reinforced upright crown, semi-rigid stitched visor, narrow front strip, and gilt finish U.S. coat of arms cap badge. Rayon/silk-lined with cloth sweatband and size tag: 22 1/2. Very good condition with a few mothing spots. Very nice vintage U.S. Army Nurse Corp. uniform ensemble!
