For your consideration is a RARE vintage World War II HMS Puncher solid brass wall shield / plaque. 19 3/4" x 16 3/4" x approx 3/4". Four mounting holes on the back that have grooves for screws. Weighs 17 lbs. 3 oz.
The HMS Puncher (D79) was was a Ruler Class Escort Carrier leased to the United Kingdom by the United States and launched in 1943. This is from an estate of a retired U.S. Navy officer who was an avid collector of vintage naval artifacts & maritime pieces. One of a kind.
