on each side of the bag there is a small pouch with button closure. On the front top flap of the bagthere is a leather strap for closure and also on the bag there is a metal d ring for secureing the bag closed..In side the top flap it is stamped MADE IN FRANCE and some other printing with is a little hard to read. Also stamped in big letters is A-S-T 40-38.
