CAPTAIN HEINRICH BAUER

(1902-1979) German aviator and the watch officer of the ill-fated airship Hindenburg during the disaster, going on to participate in numerous other Zeppelin flights.Later, a navigator for the Luftwaffe, wounded in action near Hannover in 1945.
