Thank your for viewing this listing. This reproduction leather flight jacket was made by Headwind Manufacturing Co. Dubbed the Arlo, this jacket is a detailed reproduction of the 18775-P contract made in 1942 by the Aero Leather Company. This flight jacket features a smooth, dark russet horse hide color, mustard colored cotton lining, red brick knits and a shiny, nickeled M39 Talon reproduction zipper. Additionally, there are large ring snaps and vent eyelets, which have blackened finishes.
The jacket has been gently worn for over a year on cool fall days and has wear commensurate with its age such as small scratches, though the jacket is in good, solid overall condition. There is a scuff on each end of the 2 tips of the right side of the collar. The left wrist knit has one small unraveled spot that could be repaired likely by darning it. The jacket is a size 38 and has a slim fit. It is very comfortable when worn over a button down long-sleeve shirt. Measurements are:
From armpit to armpit: 19 and 1/4 inchesTop of collar to bottom of waist knit: 27 inchesshoulder to shoulder: 16.5 inchesTop of right shoulder seam to end of right wrist knit: 23.5 inchesTop of left shoulder seam to end of left wrist knit: 23.5 inches
