SecondLieutenant Edward Pfeiffer Jr was a pilot for the305th Bomber Group (H). Included is the Western Union telegram confirming his death, what is likely his last letter home, and all documents shown.There is noticeable discoloration throughout.The telegram and some of the correspondence are in a delicate state, with tears and separation along the folds. The last couple pictures show some standard letters from the veterans administration regarding insurance claims and the Bigg\'s Field chaplain\'s office. See pics.
